Privacy Policy

The short version: CareTrip Busan doesn't require an account, doesn't run ads or analytics, and doesn't sell or share your data. It uses your location on-device to find nearby hospitals and wellness spots, and nothing you type into the symptom search ever leaves your phone.
What we collect

Neither of these is used for advertising, tracking across other companies' apps or websites, or building a profile of you.
What we don't collect
- No account, email, or password — every feature works without signing in.
- No symptoms or health information leave your device. Symptom-to-department matching runs entirely on your phone.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No advertising identifiers, and no third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
Services we rely on
To show real hospital and wellness listings, CareTrip Busan calls the following services. Each receives only what's needed to answer that specific request (typically your coordinates or a search radius) — never your identity.
- Korea Tourism Organization OpenAPI — hospital, wellness, and tourism listings.
- Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA) — general hospital directory.
- Kakao Local API & Kakao Map — Korean address lookup and turn-by-turn directions.
- Google Firebase (Firestore) — cached wellness ratings; the app only reads this data, it never writes to it.
Your choices
Location access is optional — you can deny or revoke it anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. Without it, the app can't show hospitals or wellness spots near you.
Children's privacy
CareTrip Busan is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the update.
